A very warm scarf crocheted in Deborah Norville’s Saturate, the latest addition to her collection of yarn. She calls this “air wool” because it has the warmth of wool without the weight.
I have noticed that this yarn gets wider and narrower and this seems to be a feature of every ball I’ve used. I don’t think it’s a defect but rather the way the yarn is spun. It gives the scarf a 3-dimensional texture to the stitches.
The color combination is called Agate and the colors of Gold, Purple, Pink, & Black are deeply saturated and pleasing to the eye.
